ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see the Tana French books on your list, I really need to get caught up on them. Mr. Churchill's Secretary almost made my list, and if I would have done more than 15, it probably would have. Can't wait to see what makes your list next year.
ReplyDeleteSo sad, i have not read a single one of those, but I do wanna
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Harold Fry - stayed with me long after I finished it. A few more of your favorites are on my shelf (unread) and I plan to get to them after early February when my blog makes some major changes - stay tuned ;-)

I have loved reading all your reviews this year and can't wait for 2013!! Thanks for getting me hooked on Jill's books ... I am GETTING quite the collection now!!! :) Happy New Year!!!

I've read 3 of your top reads. Have many more on my TBR pile. Looking forward to them as our tastes are often the same. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your reading for 2012, Staci! Big hugs and happy new year!
Great list, Staci. We have such similar reading tastes - too bad we don't live around the corner from each other so we could exchange books!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours!
SO many on this list I haven't read! Must remedy that! I completely agree about Tana French, Joshilyn Jackson, and Gone Girl. Many of the rest are on my TBR list. :)Happy New Year to you, Staci!
ReplyDeleteFantastic list :) Congrats on a great year of reading! Here's to 2013 and all of the new books around the corner for all of us!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any but have seen many on others list.
ReplyDeleteGood list - I have several of your titles on my to-read list - and a couple on my shelves for 2013! I also adored Broken Harbor and Gone Girl. :)
ReplyDeleteI've only read 3 of those titles - a couple were on my best of lists in the year I read them. I'm making note of several of your titles. Happy New Year, Staci!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list, Staci! The Baker's Daughter was one of my favorites this year as well. And several other titles you list are on my TBR list and wish list. I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
ReplyDeleteHow neat to find that we share 2 favorites! Even cooler....that you have now given me even more titles to add to my ever-growing TBR list.
ReplyDeleteMay you enjoy a peace-filled new year and may you find more scrumptious books in the days to come. Happy 2013...
I love the variety in your list. Some of these I've read and enjoyed too.
ReplyDeleteI see several on your list that I loved, too; Gone Girl, of course. And also The Beginner's Goodbye, Sea Change, and Reservation Road. The last one I read in a previous year, and Sea Change didn't make my top ten list, even though I loved it.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I need to build this list but it will be filled with non-fiction! :)
ReplyDeleteI am one of the lonely people who didn't love Gone Girl, I thought the plot broke down quickly and lost interest. So much of that book couldn't happen and yet it was supposed to by 'misery' like. I don't believe I even reviewed it. HA
Enjoyed your family updates this year. We might be planning a trip in 2013 to Michigan, I will let you know if by some miracle we are close enough to meet. Wouldn't that be amazing.
Honored to call you friend Staci. Have a lovely day!
I;ve read three of those and In the Woods was on my list too. I've never been disappointed with Ciji Ware. Happy 2013 :)
ReplyDeleteI've read four of the books on your list. Clearly I need the rest of the year to read the others!
ReplyDeletenice list (though I've only read two of them). I hope you enjoy the year of reading ahead of you.
ReplyDeleteSO MANY books here that I want to read! I'm adding a bunch of these to my TBR list. I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed In The Woods as much as I did! And I hope that you have just as good of reading year in 2013!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list Staci. You've given me a couple of authors I want to check out. Hope 2013 is another great reading year for you.
ReplyDeleteSo many great books. And a belated Happy New Year, Doll!
ReplyDeleteI used to stop by here all the time and I don't know why I haven't lately. That must change. I'm making sure you are in my reader feed so I'll be sure to stop by.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this great list!
Terrific year of reading, Staci!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get a chance to add The Graveyard Queen series to your list for 2013??!!
ReplyDeleteWe seem to have similar tastes, too! I should have included The Beginner's Goodbye in my list of 2012 favorites. I overlooked it, pulling my list together in haste. Just found your blog from a link at Books and Movies, and will follow!
ReplyDeleteGreat assortment of books! The ones I have read I really enjoyed. Many of them I really want to get to at some point!
ReplyDeleteI used to read everything by Anne Tyler but for some reason haven't picked up anything by her in years. Looks like The Beginner's Goodbye is the reason to get back to her.
ReplyDeleteSo many great books on your list! I loved Mr. Churchill's Secretary, The Lost Wife made my "best of 2011" list, and The Baker's Daughter made my "best of 2012" list. Happy 2013!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I loved Cottage by the Sea and I'm thrilled that you are on board with Louise Penny!!!
ReplyDeleteVive, Gamache!
I read 7 of your favorites and have many others on my TBR list. You had a great reading year! Here's to 2013!!! :)
