Hello Friends!
Can you believe it's that time again? Time for Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon!! I have decided once again to do a movie watch-a-thon instead of reading. It really worked well for me last time and I have a list of movies (based on books that I've read or want to read) to watch on Saturday.
Here is the list of the movies that I will be viewing:
- Water for Elephants - read the book and loved it. Wondering what I will think of the movie version???
- Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close- thought the book was amazing. Hope the movie is too!
- Let Me In- I have the book and want to read it. Will watch this one while it's light out!!
- The Lincoln Lawyer- want to read the book and Matthew is easy on the eyes!
- The Shunning- Amish fiction by Beverly Lewis. I loved the book!
- Miss Marple- haven't met her yet in my Agatha Christie journey but think the shows would be a fun way to get acquainted!
- The Tale of Despereaux- I LOVED this book and think the animated movie looks adorable.
I hope everyone who participates has a great time !!
Read on!

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close was a great movie, I loved it. I'll have to read the book now that I see it in your list. Enjoy your movie-thon.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested in what you think of Water for Elephants.
ReplyDeleteI don't have my pile of books picked out for tomorrow. I don't think I will this time. Just see what I'm in the mood for.
The Girl and I thought Despereaux was a cute movie. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the movie-a-thon idea :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great day enjoying the movies! I was going to participate, but my daughter got the day off so we will hang out together. I will cheer early in the morning and then again in the evening.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea doing a movie-a-thon, might consider that for next time, it's been 2 years since I did the readathon. Have fun :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had seenthis last week, I could have joined you! Having taken three days off the week before I knew I couldn't ask Jason to givew up family time two weekends in a row for the readathon, but movies we could have watched together. Please remind me next time :)
ReplyDeleteI've been so busy that the read-a-thon completely passed me by this year. I love your idea though. Movies would be fun!
