This photo was taken with my phone during my drive back home today from the library. I loved the way the clouds looked even though at times it was ominous looking! I used the Sierra Filter in Instagram which did lighten up the clouds a bit.
Same photo but no filters.....
The sky looks ominous. great shots.ReplyDelete
Something was sure comingReplyDelete
Our sky has looked like that all week. I can't believe you were the only car on the road.ReplyDelete
We've had similar wild, stormy, windy weather in Sydney the past 2 days. Is that corn or sugar cane growing in the field?ReplyDelete
Interesting shot, that's a cornfield too I think?ReplyDelete
I have never been able to capture great shots from a car. Amazing! Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POSTReplyDelete
Great shots, Staci! Hope those clouds ended up producing a little rain. We had our first rainy day in ages yesterday...ReplyDelete
Wowwwwwwwwwwwww!! I love storms like that!!ReplyDelete
This reminds me, I should have taken pictures of dark clouds! We had that today. And then it poured!!!ReplyDelete
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Very cool pictures!ReplyDelete
I love photos that include or spotlight the sky. Good job!ReplyDelete
That's kind of what it looks like here now. We have been getting some much-needed rain!ReplyDelete
What a pretty shot. I've got to try that instagram.ReplyDelete
Those are ominous looking clouds! I do like a good storm as long as I'm not out in it. :)ReplyDelete
It's amazing what shots can be taken with a phone. Many of the photos are very good quality.ReplyDelete
Wonderful road trip.ReplyDelete
Really nice pictures, both of them.ReplyDelete
You live in some nice country, there.
That lone tree to the right is so cute. It's like it's saying, "Hey, I y'am what I y'am!"
The filter made a difference in the colors of the photos. I like the depth of field. Very nice.ReplyDelete
Great shot! I can't believe you got that through your car window. The original is great but I love what you did with it! Isn't it fun to play with photos? I hope the storm wasn't too nasty. :)ReplyDelete
I do like the intensity of the colors in the first photo. I guess I need to try instagram. It's already on my iPhone, I just have to start an account.ReplyDelete
I liked your filtered version of the scene. Pretty dramatic!ReplyDelete
Gorgeous! The colours are so intense; I love the version with filters, but even without it the pictures feels powerful.ReplyDelete
Love the front view of the 'front'♫♪ReplyDelete
Nice picture from your phone...the filter helped capture the mood of the stormy skies!ReplyDelete
I am amazed at the high quality of photos you can get with a phone. And lots of depth with that filter. I hope you got some rain, we can sure use a little more this summer.ReplyDelete
Love the filtered photo, it does intensify colours, even the grass is greener!ReplyDelete
I'm still trying to get the hang of Instagram. Did you have to take the photo twice, once with filter and once without or is there a way to take the filters off and on? sigh...ReplyDelete
Oh, and yes, the clouds are ominous but beautiful!
What a very nice drive you have. Beautiful. I like it better without filters. I'm all about real when it comes to pictures. :<)ReplyDelete
What a lovely Michigan snapshot. Very cool.ReplyDelete
