Mailbox Monday
is a gathering place for readers to
share the books that came into their house last week
and explore great book blogs.
Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Hosted this month by
The Temptation of the Night Jasmine (Pink Carnation #5) by Lauren Willig
The Masque of the Black Tulip (Pink Carnation #2) by Lauren Willig
** I bought both of these books in the used section of Shuler Books & Music in East Lansing. I could've walked out with a ton more but common sense prevailed!!!
Total spent: $14.50

I'm impressed that you were able to stop at two. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI've still only the first one in Lauren Willig's series. I mean to read more though. Hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOnly two books....I need to learn some self control. Any tips? :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I LOVE used book sales! And yes, it does take self control. Enjoy your week of reading!
ReplyDeletehehehehehe... I can picture you in a bookstore... I could see the employees trying to do an intervention... lol :) These books sound GOOD! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeleteI love those covers on the Carnation series. The Agatha Raisin sounds interesting-in a maddening sort of way. I like stories with vets in them. I've posted my recent reads too. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteBoth books look so good. Enjoy the reading.
ReplyDeleteI have forbidden myself going into bookstores because I have no restraint. You had a good week. Hope this one is as productive.
ReplyDeleteYour self-restraint at the bookstore inspires me, Staci :) I have the first Willig book on my Kindle and hope to read it this year.
ReplyDeleteI think I will add My Jane Austin Summer to my list - I like the contemporay twist.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
The Agatha Raisin books sound like so much fun. Must try them one day. Right now I've got a self-enforced unofficial ban on book-buying going on. Probably won't last long, though. Hope you enjoy all your reading this week!
ReplyDeleteI may be the only person in the reading world who doesn't read Jodi P. :<)
ReplyDeleteThe new Jodi Picoult one looks great, enjoy! :D
ReplyDeleteI adore Jodi Picoult's work. I have a great long list of books to read. Being 'retired' you'd think I'd get to them. sigh.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
Just got off a 4-day visit with my brother, and a two-day visit with grandkids. Whew.
They look really good, enjoy!
ReplyDeletecome by and see mine
and my giveaways.
I bought the first 5 Pink Carnation books for $1 a piece at a closeout bookstore that was closing up. I can't wait to read them.
ReplyDeleteYou showed remarkable restraint! Enjoy your two new books!
ReplyDeleteMy Jane Austen Summer sounds like a must read this summer. :)
