At first I lay down, but I couldn't find relief, so I set to washing clothes. As I lifted one of McKale' undershirtts, I held it against my face. I could still smell her.
p.129~ The Walk by Richard Paul Evans
Sounds ominous. Wonder where she is... Here's my teaser.

ReplyDeleteHERE is my teaser for this week.
Wondering why the narrator felt the need to smell the T shirt and what if anything has happen to McKale (interesting name for a girl) Intriguing teaser for sure.
ReplyDeleteOK that is either extremely sad or creepy (isn't it funny how a line can be interpreted either way)! (but I probably only went creepy because I am reading the latest Kaye Scarpetta novel)!
ReplyDeleteGreat Teaser!
I've never read him but i really like the cover!
ReplyDeleteOh that is a sad teaser, my mind is thinking so many thoughts. I look forward to your review as I love sad emotional books.

ReplyDeleteAt first I thought this teaser was a little weird but the more I thought about it, it seemed kind of sweet.
ReplyDeleteExcellent teaser! It's got me wondering all sorts of things. But I don't think I'd ever do laundry to "find relief"!
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser..makes me wonder if someone has died or is missing. I'm going to add this to my library wishlist. I loved the Christmas Box series by Evans.
