Teaser Tuesdays and It's Tuesday...Where Are You?

I've left America for a new start in post-World War II England. While touring Derbyshire, I've come across Montclair, the home that inspired Jane Austen's Pemberley. I've become totally enthralled with the letters and journals of the Lacey family, who used to own Montclair. I've just met a very handsome American pilot. I think love is in the air!

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!

As soon as I heard the name, Elizabeth Bennett, my ears perked up. Was it possible that I was actually standing in the home of the real Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy?
