The weather has certainly taken a turn for the brrr here in Michigan. I've been watching
this particular bit of ice on my bushes for over a week now and it's still holding on!
This photo was taken January 5, 2013 @ 7:35 a.m.
Looks cool :)
ReplyDeleteLoveeeeeeeee it!!
ReplyDeleteOur weather has gotten much colder too. Ice in pics always look good.
ReplyDeleteOh PS ... I think I lied... Harley isn't gonna be the character that I mostly connected with in Jill's books... started Animal Attraction yesterday....and YEP!!! Except for the whole HOT body thing (LOL!!!!) -- I am Jade!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think ice is more frightening than almost anything else...maybe it was seeing movies about ice storms that did it for me.
ReplyDeleteBut the ice is certainly beautiful when on branches and wires.
Thanks for sharing...and brrrr!!
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Ice and snow are always scary to me....we see so little of it here along the Texas Gulf Coast. But it is beautiful, too.
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Saturday Snapshot. I hope you will stop by! And Happy New Year!
Oh yuck, ice is even worse than snow! I was whining because it was only 53 here yesterday.
ReplyDeleteOh brrrr... ice for a week! I'm getting spoiled, we just broke a record by having 308 consecutive days at or above freezing. Unheard of in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is so cold here in the mitten all of a sudden!! Love how this shot illustrates that.
ReplyDeleteWe still have just a dusting of snow, and it is warming up!
ReplyDeletenow that looks cold! beautiful shot and what a great way to capture the ice cold feeling in the sunset!
ReplyDeleteI love the ice droplet! Have a great day!

My Saturday Snapshot
Is it dawn or early sunset? Ice made it lovely.
ReplyDeleteNice mystique with the ice in the foreground. We have too much snow for Ohio. Hope it melts soon. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of the ice, but it does look cold! My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/dgFw0
ReplyDeleteOooh chilly! Cool pic great lighting in the background :D
ReplyDeleteLookin' pretty darn chilly! Isn't it amazing that that branch will sprout new leaves come spring?
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!
ReplyDeleteMakes me shiver - LOL How cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about your photo is not only the close-up of the ice beads and the silhouettes of the naked trees, but also the depth of field going all the way back to the soft blues and yellows of the horizon line!

ReplyDeleteIt is so stinkin' cold here as well! I wish we would at least get some more snow to go with it because the kids haven't been sledding yet :/ Or it could warm up. Either way!
ReplyDeleteI have seen enough snow and ice to last me a lifetime this year. Lol. Hope you get some snow for your hubby!
