This is a photo that I took about 5 years ago when my camera was still in pretty good working condition and I was able to get some great shots. This is the field behind my house when it was planted in wheat. The day was absolutely gorgeous with the blue skies. I've been thinking of blowing it up and putting it on the wall!!
I like the contrast between the brown wheat and the blue sky. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteWow - what a gorgeous shot!!!
ReplyDeleteWowwwwwwwww! Hello GORGEOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors, Staci! I say put it on the wall!
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that my, well bf's camera, have become worse
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Makes me think of 'Amber waves of grain'
ReplyDeleteIt is a great picture, I really like defined the wheat is.
ReplyDeleteDitto, Trish!
ReplyDeleteYou should! It would be remarkable as one of those wallpaper murals they sell. A real stunner.
ReplyDeleteVery prairie-esque. What is in the background?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I would enlarge it and frame it!
ReplyDeleteThat is really lovely - the contrast between the colours is great, and the detail on the ears of wheat is really clear. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/GVIbC

That is gorgeous! I love how the field seems to go on forever out to the horizon.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat colours and textures. Such flat, flat land...makes the horizon seem infinite.

ReplyDeleteI have a few frames and just replace the photos as my mood warrants (and I get new pics to replace).
It is a beautiful picture.
