Mailbox Monday
is a gathering place for readers to share the books that
came into their house last week and explore great book blogs.
Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

We discuss the books that we've read
and what we're planning to read for the week.
Last Week's Bookish Thoughts:
Nothing happened on my blog last week because I was so sick that I actually felt sorry for myself!! I was, "I want my mommy" sick!! Thankfully, the antibiotics have really kicked in and a week later I'm starting to feel halfway human! Thank you to my friends that stopped by to wish me well and for the virtual hugs!!
Books I will be talking about this week:
True Sisters- new release from Sandra Dallas
The Lightning Thief- middle school series on audio
Friday Fitness is coming back this week! I was detoured by unexpected life curveballs last week so I didn't spend a lot of time on the computer. Will discuss this in my upcoming post!!
In my Book Box:
I'm flirting with a few library choices and a few review books. I guess I will pick whatever speaks to me!!
- Thrush Green (library)
- Glow (review copy)
- Perfect (library)
I have Sea Change, too. Looking forward to your thoughts!!
ReplyDeleteMailbox Monday always leads to envy! :-)
ReplyDeleteHere's my
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I'd love to have you stop by!
Hope you're all the way human really soon!! Keep resting my friend. I want to read Glow soon, a friend raved about it :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week and happy reading!!
I love that we are never too old to "want our mommy" when were sick:) Hope this week finds you good as new. Sea Change looks like a good one Staci --enjoy
ReplyDeleteAll your library choices are new to me! enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are feeling better, enough to post. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about your fitness friday... sounds like a good idea. I tend to workout too much on the weekends, during the summer. My husband golfs when he's in town so I have plenty of time to walk/jog (just to be outside). :)
Happy Reading!
I'm sorry you've been feeling sick, but am glad to hear you're on the mend.
ReplyDeleteI see you're listening to Ree Drummond's memoir. How are you liking it? I listened to it this time last year and was surprised that I enjoyed it as well as I did. I gave it a 4.5/5!
Can't wait to read your reviews this week and to read Fridays again!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen Sea Change on several blogs, so I went online at Amazon to preorder it. Not long to wait, either!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better...I've been "down" with a severe toothache this week...even went to the ER one night. Today I'm off to the dentist. My eye is swollen shut this morning....
These things seem to start at night and continue on the weekend when you can't do much!
Have a great week!
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you are on the mend. Gage still has a little bit of a runny nose, but he didn't get antibiotics :( Next time you'll have to come down and I can take care of both of you. Jason's been sick for a week now and he might actually break down and go to the dr.!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you weren't feeling well. I'm weeks behind in my Reader so trust by now that you are feeling good agian!
