I was looking through my photos and realized that I had pictures of each of my boys taken on the same day with the ice cold water pump outside my parent's house. You may notice that Mitch- on the left, seems to be enjoying his time with the water. I love the little butt crack showing and you can tell that he has his underwear on backwards. He liked having the picture on the front! But poor Marc is obviously shocked by the cold water..check out his little belly!! Oh, how I miss those days when my boys were little!!
Seeing if it works on an ipad
ReplyDeleteTheir body language says so much. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteI know!!
DeleteAdorable! Nothing like water-play on a summer evening :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a warm night and the kids were playing while the dads and grandpa were building their new play area.
DeleteToddler times can be so delightful and fun.
ReplyDeleteThose were some of my favorite times ever!
DeleteHow cute they are, Staci! Your big boys. I know that you are so proud of both of them.
ReplyDeleteHI Kay!
DeleteI miss those days and love to look at the old photos. Can't believe how fast the time went!
Very cute -- those will be great blackmail material someday!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Lisa! I have a few more incriminating ones of my youngest!
DeleteYou know, if you have a cartoon pic on your underwear you should be able to see it!! I'm loving these photos!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree and totally get it!
DeleteWhat a riot - especially Marc!
ReplyDeleteHe was not a happy camper when his brother tricked him to get up there by the water!
DeleteToooooooooo cute!!! I love these! :):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeleteOld pictures are so much fun!
DeleteAwwwwwww - so cute!!
ReplyDeleteButt crack and all!
DeleteWhat a couple of cuties! What happened? ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know!! LOL!! just wait...your time will come when yours are not so cute any longer too!
DeleteI get that little lump in my throat when I see these kinds of photos of days long gone. Thanks for sharing...and reminding me to hold onto the moments.
ReplyDeleteI found one of my shots today in a see-through bin in the garage, and wondered how I let it get away from me like that? I didn't realize I had packed photos with paperwork in the see-through bins. (Moved over four years ago!).
It isn't a "childhood" photo of my son, but one taken several years ago.
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT and here’s
MY WEBSITE
I love it when I stumble across a photo that I haven't seen in some time!!!
DeleteStaci, thanks for the giggle this morning -- these pictures and the story are so cute. I laughed out loud at the backwards underwear so the picture would be on the front! Oh, how the time does fly.....my son is 14 now and my daughter turned 16 (!) and I swear it was just yesterday they were in pull ups and drinking out of sippy cups!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were giggle worthy!! I hate time...want to slow it down sometimes because I didn't realize it would go this fast!
DeleteAwww - they are so cute. I love that age. I can hear their squeals.
ReplyDeleteI love that age too, Margot. They were the most fun about this time and for the most part they still are. Mitch has gotten past his angry years and our relationship is better than ever! Marc is still Marc...fun loving, big hearted and goofy!
DeleteThey are both very cute! Funny expression on the little one's face. :)
ReplyDeleteThat was from the pure shock of the ice cold water hitting him!
DeleteHear the squeals and feel the cold water. ;)
ReplyDeleteI can still remember laughing so hard!!
DeleteThat is so precious! Do the guys know you posted those photos? LOL
ReplyDeleteUmmmm....no! They never visit my blog! Good thing, huh?
DeleteSo cute! I love to look at pictures of my kids when they were little. I miss those days a lot but I wouldn't trade those days for these days. Every time I hear a kid screaming in the grocery store, I thank heavens that I don't have to worry about that any more!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I can appreciate it that my boys never did that. They thought about it a few times but my husband quickly got that under control. Now my brother's girls were a totally different story!! LOL!
DeleteOh, too funny! How adorable!
ReplyDeleteI loved this one and didn't realize that I had photos of both of them from that day!
DeleteI love the backward underwear too. Someone gave Vance a Ninja Turtles patch and I ironed it on the back of a pair of his overalls - he insisted on wearing them backwards after that.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand Vance!! He wanted to look at it too!!
DeleteThe picture on the bum of the underwear never made much sense to me either. I love those pics! They grow up much too fast!
ReplyDeleteWay too fast for me, but not fast enough for my hubby!
DeleteI got chills looking at these adorable shots:) Very cute Staci.
ReplyDeleteJust makes me want to rewind time for a few hours/days/weeks!
DeleteI hear you, I miss those day too. I hated that cold water stuff, my eldest would turn blue, he'd be so cold, but would never want to quit before the rest of the neighborhood did. I finally started to attach the hose to the laundry room just so the water wouldn't be too cold. My husband wondered why the bill for hot water was so high. Love the backward underwear too.
ReplyDeleteThat's why we're the moms!! I love that you made the water not too cold!!
DeleteGreat photos Staci! One of my boys wore his underwear backwards for the same reason too!
ReplyDeleteThat is so very funny!
DeleteI'm having a little trouble accessing some sites and posting comments so forgive me if this is a duplicate....
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. They are so cute! I love the backwards underwear and the butt crack.
Me too, Marie!! I just miss them as little ones!
Deletehahaha they are the cutest pics, brings back memories of when my boys were little too
ReplyDeleteWhy do they have to grow up so fast?
DeletePrecious memories.
ReplyDeleteVery much indeed!
DeleteWhat fun pictures! Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThat picture of Marc reminds me of my brother when he was a baby. They grow up so fast!
ReplyDeleteI would love to slow down time just a bit!!!
DeleteAwwwww Staci, how cute. Poor Marc although that is one cute baby belly. Lol. Ot would be awfully nice if time could stand still.
ReplyDeleteHe did have a cute little belly!! I loved snuggling with both of them! Every once in a while I would like to rewind time!
ReplyDeleteStaci, love these pics! Thanks for reminding me to slow down, quit stressing out and to just enjoy being Gage's mom. I needed the reminder since he's had a double ear infection all week!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Time flies though, doesn't it? Thank goodness for photos to bring back all the good memories.
