"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event,
hosted at Breaking the Spine,
that spotlights upcoming releases
that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
The Next Always by Nora Roberts
![]() |
Release Date: November 1, 2011 by Berkley |
I love Nora Roberts! Whenever I'm in the mood for a great trilogy I pick up one of her books. She always delivers and I'm sucker for a great romance. Plus, isn't that cover just fantastic? It makes me want to pick it up to see what it's all about.
After losing her husband and returning to her hometown, Clare Brewster soon settles into her life as the mother of three young sons while running the town’s bookstore. Busy, with little time for romance, Clare is drawn across the street by Beckett’s transformation of the old inn, wanting to take a closer look . . . at the building and the man behind it.
With the grand opening inching closer, Beckett’s happy to give Clare a private tour - one room at a time. It’s no first date, but these stolen moments are the beginning of something new - and open the door to the extraordinary adventure of what comes next . .
What book are you waiting for?
I am really looking forward to this one too! I love this author's voice in straight contemporary novels!
ReplyDeleteI've never read Nora Roberts, but I do like that cover. Hmm, I can't think of any books I'm waiting for at the moment... isn't that a little sad?
ReplyDeleteI've only read one book by this author...think it was called Angel Falls set in Alaska - very good.

ReplyDeleteI have this one pre-ordered on my Kindle. I think Nora actually owns this hotel. Looking forward to another great trilogy by her. I'm listening to her Three Sisters Island trilogy on audio right now. It's a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteI've never read Nora Roberts although I know she is a prolific writer. Have to try one soon. The book I am most anxious to get my hands on is The Scottish Prisoner by Diana Gabaldon -- I need a Jamie fix.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous cover!
ReplyDeleteI want this one, too, Staci! I preordered it...and I now realize that I have several coming in November. That's my book allowance for the month...LOL
ReplyDeleteHere's my MY WOW POST and
MY WEBSITE
I love her trilogies, but I wait until all three books are out and devour them.
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for...everything :D
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it but I've never read a Nora Roberts book and I've heard they're really fun. This one sounds like perfect escapism to me and a good one to try!
ReplyDeleteI bought this book last week! And yes, isn't the cover lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds good and almost autobiographical except Nora's husband didn't die! She is from Boonesboro and she runs a little bookshop right across the street from the historic Inn that did just undergo renovation! My son lives near there and goes to church in Boonesboro. A really nice little town! One day I will get to stop in her bookshop
ReplyDeleteHaven't read Nora in ages but I do enjoy her books. This is a gorgeous cover!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this book. I just heard about it this week and I went straight to Amazon and pre-ordered it. I'm a big Nora Roberts fan. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteTotal Nora Roberts fan! I'll be getting this one for sure :)
