ReplyDeleteDon't apologize! We all have our reading obsessions, and I'm with you all the way when it comes to the Austen variations. I hope both of these, too, so I'm really looking forward to your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteAh, it's "everything we wanted to know...but were afraid to ask"...about Mr. Darcy, that is. Tempting....
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Sing You Home. I couldn't put it down....
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
Enjoy all your Mr. Darcys! Is there such a thing as too much Mr. Darcy? ;o)
ReplyDeleteI want to read Shaun Tan's new book - I think he is amazing!
ReplyDeletePretty soon you'll be going to those Jane Austen Society conventions! LOL
ReplyDeleteYea! More Mr. Darcy. You are a Darcy addict Staci! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested in hearing what you think about the new Jodi Picoult book. I've got it on my list to read soon.
No such thing as overload when it comes to books. Read what you enjoy! Have a good week, Tootsie, and happy reading.
ReplyDeleteCoveting all your Austen-inspired loot! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you got a couple of fun books! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAusten overload is a good thing..no need to apologize. I mean Mr. Darcy is very appealing! I read and reviewed Sing You Home. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
ReplyDeletelol- I was just thinking you must be Austened out already but I'm guessing you aren't! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologize for your Austen addiction. I'm enjoying reading your posts. Enjoy the books.
ReplyDeleteHow the Darcy books stand apart? I'd think they would all start feeling similar.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you're addicted to Darcy - now if you could only get your husband to wear that shirt!
ReplyDeleteOh Mr. Darcy - what's not to like? :)
ReplyDeleteHoly Austen overload. I love it. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou have been reading a lot of 'Darcy' books recently. A friend and I are going to start reading Austin in the order they were published. So other than the movie... I will get to know Darcy soon! ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great weekend!
I am reading The Raising. I know it's gotten mixed reviews but I loved In a Perfect World so I am hoping for the best.
ReplyDeleteI've not read Darcy anything. I know. I am way behind on the classics.
I love the new(ish?) header! (It's been a while since I've visited, so I'm not sure how new it is.)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books!
After hearing you say that you were reading Agatha Raisin, I went to the library and picked up Agatha Raisin and the Potted Gardener. It was just what I was in the mood for so thanks for reminding me of this series. (I think that I am one book ahead of you). And I'll be looking forward to reading your thoughts on Sing You Home as it has been awhile since I read anything by Picoult. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm just amazed that people can come up with that many takes on P&P to justify this many books. I'm glad you are enjoying them.
ReplyDeletegoodness - you DO have a thing about Darcy, yes? Enjoy - when you have an obsession - go for it, (as long as it's in books....)
ReplyDeleteI have been bad this week about visiting blogs. I have to keep up on that better! Wow, you had three reviews this week. I have 2 next week and I thought that was a lot!
