I'm almost embarrassed to write this post because I have only one book to talk about.....yep, you read that right......ONE! But I think it will turn out to be a great one.

Sandra Brown** Diane of Bibliophile by the Sea writes some of the best reviews of books that I read on a daily basis and she totally sold me on this one. I haven't read a Brown book in ages because honestly, I felt she was tired and overdone. Another friend whose opinions I highly respect is JoAnn/QuAppelle. She is one tough cookie to win over and she gave this one 4 out of 5 stars!

ReplyDeleteI used to read Sandra Brown all the time too. I don't remember why I stopped. I recently picked up one at a book sale (Executive Power, I think). I'm curious about the one you checked out.

I am so proud of you, LOL. I actually walked into the library Monday to return an overdue book, paid my fine and walked out without even touching any of the books!

ReplyDeleteI used to read Sandra Brown all the time, but some of her books in the past few years have been disppointing. Hope this one is a return to her earlier successes.
ReplyDeleteDiane is a great reviewer! Even though I have never been interested in this author, Rainwater does sound terrific.

One! Wow. I beat you. I got none this week. I have tons to read right now and I'm on some long waiting lists. I'm sure I'll get some more next week after I've made a dent in my stack at home.
