  4. I love the cover for The Shell Seekers. I wonder if it will turn out to have anything to do with the book. I just finished "The Postmistress" which has a lovely flower on the cover that I thought was totally unrelated. But then I googled symbolism for purple rose and thought well, maybe it is related after all!

  9. I haven't read either of those books. Cleopatra's daughter looks like fun.

I see your October challenge is The Road. I thought that was one of the scariest books I've ever read. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

  11. I've read both your books :D Just read The Shell Seekers this year. This isn't a spoiler: The Shell Seekers is actually the title of a painting. I really enjoyed the book. The movie, not so much. Just saw it a few weeks ago on cable and found it very disjointed.

    LOVED Cleopatra's Daughter!

    Have a great week : )

  19. No fair! I received Cleopatra's Daughter for an arc which thrilled me but my copy was not signed.

I have Shell Seekers on my Bookmooch inventory. Didn't read it, maybe that was a mistake.
