ReplyDeleteI'll probably check out "Get Lucky" in the next while. Seems like my cup of tea!
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, I am finishing Updike's last Rabbit novel: Rabbit at Rest. I am enjoying the tale of Harry Angstrom et al.
Oh I loved Out of My Mind will have to check back Saturday to read your review. So how do you go about deciding which book and format you will use for your review?

The Sandra Dallas book is on my radar. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI read a Sarah Dallas book last summer, Prayers for Sale, and really enjoyed it. She was a new to me author and I will definitely be giving her another try as soon as I can.
ReplyDeleteStaci: I also got Whiter Than Snow (last week) for review - looks good, doesn't it? I am looking forward to reading your review of Get Lucky - I just adore Katherine Center's books!
ReplyDeleteWhiter than snow sounds intriguing, I must go google ;)
ReplyDeleteI read On Folly Beach last week, too.
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching for your reactions to The Girls from Ames.
Enjoy your week!

ReplyDeleteWhiter Than Snow looks good! Happy reading! My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed Hunger Games. I did too :)
ReplyDeleteEvery Secret Thing looks good!
What great books!! They all look great. Black Water Rising has a very appealing cover that makes me want to reach out and read it, lol! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI have been following The Shepherd's Granddaughter with great interest because of the flack it's been receiving in Toronto and the censorship issue. I read what you had to say and applaud your stand on the issue as it is a great way to discuss some very important issues that need to be discussed. Luckily the books hasn't been removed in my school board yet, but who knows? Boards in Ontario even tried to remove the Harry Potter books because of the witchcraft elements in them.
ReplyDeleteWhat I found interesting at our local library is the waiting list for that book is quite long now.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your interesting books and have a great reading week!
I passed on the Sandra Dallas book. I'm trying to accept less review books but it's SO hard!
ReplyDeleteI like the covers for Get Lucky and Quaker Summer :) Every Secret Thing looks creepy!
