1. What are you reading right now? Out of My Mind- Sharon Draper
2. How many books have you read so far? 2
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon? I don't have a fave
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day? Nope, I just told the family that I was reading all day today....they know the drill!!
5. Have you had many interruptions? I'm doing laundry and of course I had to stop a few times to eat.
How did you deal with those? I welcome them!!!

7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? As always, I think you guys do a great job!!!
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year? Not a thing...plan on doing both next time too!!
9. Are you getting tired yet? Not yet, I have big dreams that I'm going to make it all the way through this time. I have to leave around 11:30 pm to pick my son up from the train station and I'm so excited to see him that I'm hoping the adrenaline will keep me going past the 2 am hour!!!
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered? Just relax and have fun!!!

Hope you're enjoying everyone you meet and everywhere you go in your reading today.
I'll bet you'll be happy to see our son!
Sounds like you are having a fun, relaxing time of it, rather than trying to read as many books as possible. Keep on trucking!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the reading! Laundry's been my major interruption as well, but I'll hold off on folding it until tomorrow. =)
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great!
ReplyDeleteWTG on the halfway point and way to cool that you are going to pick up your son! That should definitely give you jolt of energy!
You're doing much better than I am! I ended up having to work for three hours this morning, then my hubby got home early and wouldn't shut up and the whole fam-damily just keeps interrupting. Next time--I'm reading in my bedroom with the door locked!
ReplyDeleteSometimes those interruptions help in the long run! I am so glad you liked The Hunger Games!
ReplyDeleteNobody said I could cheer for myself!!! Go Staci you can make it!!!
ReplyDeleteLaundry. Do we ever get away from laundry? It sounds like you're doing great!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Staci! Thanks for the cheers! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI just had to stop by and see how you are doing. I am glad to know that I am not the only one that has only read 2 books. I am on my third now. I have been snacking a lot (all week actually). I just washed my face hoping that will wake me up!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I agree! Go Staci Go! I believe you are going to make it all the way. Adrenaline can take you a long way.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job on the Read-a-Thon! Way to go! I'm sorry about the power outage though. I'll be looking forward to reading with you on October. Keep on rocking and reading, read-a-thoner! It's been lots of fun! :D
