Fitness Friday: Update #3
What I've been doing:
Well, I haven't been walking in over 2 weeks...we had Spring Break so I just slacked during that time. Then the weather has been sucky here in Michigan so I didn't go outside to walk. I really have no excuses because I can walk inside...I just haven't done it!! Yes, I know, I need to get back into the walking groove. I have plans on restarting my walking schedule on Monday!
Weight Watchers and Me:
I've been doing a really good job of sticking to my points and not wasting them. Last weekend I did splurge a bit on pizza. It was well worth it! Sometimes cheesy pizza hits the spot!
Starting weight: 171
3/19/10: 168
4/1/10: 166
4/16/10: 164
4/23/10: 162
Goal weight: 140-145

I have not been walking outside as much as I should be either! Congrats on your continued success.
ReplyDeleteYou're still going down so that's great! And almost all the guides say take an occasional break from exercise. It sounds like you're still on track!

Staci, you're doing well. Sometimes it is very hard to keep both sides of the exercise/eating right equation going isn't it? I have been changing my eating habits slowly, but I have been focused more on getting an exercise routine started for now. I do find though that certain foods don't appeal as much and I'm not really tempted to eat fast food anymore. If I am slightly tempted to stop for some, I try to imagine how my stomach would feel afterward. :-)

ReplyDeleteTo average two points a week is incredible. Good job. Can't walk outside? How about dancing inside? Not that I would do that, just a thought.

ReplyDeleteI have been walking 30 minutes 5 days a week and plan to start strength training on Sunday. I hate exercise, but it is a must for weight loss as you get older unfortunately...LOL

ReplyDeleteExcellent progress!! Doesn't it feel good to shed those pounds?! You and I have lost the same amount, but I started back in January! I need to cut out my wine and then I'll be able to drop a few more lbs. I think. I've been so good about working out (walking, biking, swimming and lifting weights). I'm feeling like I'm ready for summer! :)

ReplyDeleteYou have to treat yourself every now anf then, otherwise you may binge.
I have fallen off the wagon but will get back on shortly.
