Teaser Tuesday and It's Tuesday....Where Are You?

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!

As I lie in bed, attempting to mold my pillows into a more comfortable shape, I once again thank heaven that Jane Austen's world has no phones, PDA's, or computers. This is the one time in my life that my happiness won't depend on the leavings of my voicemail and email.

p.135- Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler

I was nursing a broken heart, went to bed and woke up the next morning to find myself in Regency, England!!! Somehow I'm stuck in another woman's life...do I want to go home? Will I find that I would rather be here?

  1. What period of history would I rather be stuck in? Regency England would be interesting. My teaser is set in a time you wouldn't want to be in!

  4. Staci: Like you, I participate in a couple of memes on Tuesday. But unlike you, I'm not as creative with my It's Tuesday Where Are You? I like how you did that one.
