The Best Man - Six Sentence Bookish Thoughts #88

What The Best Man is about:
Faith Holland left her hometown after being jilted at the altar. Now a little older and wiser, she's ready to return to the Blue Heron Winery, her family's vineyard, to confront the ghosts of her past, and maybe enjoy a glass of red. After all, there's some great scenery there..Like Levi Cooper, the local police chief--and best friend of her former fiance. There's a lot about Levi that Faith never notice, and it's not just those deep green eyes. The only catch is she's having a hard time forgetting the helped ruin her wedding all those years ago.

Kristan Higgins knows how to write a great contemporary romance with a plausible, yet heartwarming HEA. I thought this one was the best of her books that I've read to date. I absolutely loved the whole falling for your ex-husband's best man from the wedding but not really wanting to. I also laughed my way through some of the crazy situations that Faith stumbled into!!

Recommend? Absolutely! This book gave me everything that I wanted..great story, awesome location, characters that I came to love, and a romance that tickled me pink!!! I'm so excited to learn that this is the first of the Blue Heron series..can't wait to return!
