The sky looks ominous. great shots.
ReplyDeleteSomething was sure coming
ReplyDeleteOur sky has looked like that all week. I can't believe you were the only car on the road.
ReplyDeleteWe've had similar wild, stormy, windy weather in Sydney the past 2 days. Is that corn or sugar cane growing in the field?
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot, that's a cornfield too I think?
ReplyDeleteI have never been able to capture great shots from a car. Amazing! Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Staci! Hope those clouds ended up producing a little rain. We had our first rainy day in ages yesterday...
ReplyDeleteWowwwwwwwwwwwww!! I love storms like that!!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me, I should have taken pictures of dark clouds! We had that today. And then it poured!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Very cool pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love photos that include or spotlight the sky. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThat's kind of what it looks like here now. We have been getting some much-needed rain!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty shot. I've got to try that instagram.
ReplyDeleteThose are ominous looking clouds! I do like a good storm as long as I'm not out in it. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what shots can be taken with a phone. Many of the photos are very good quality.
ReplyDeleteWonderful road trip.
ReplyDeleteReally nice pictures, both of them.
ReplyDeleteYou live in some nice country, there.
That lone tree to the right is so cute. It's like it's saying, "Hey, I y'am what I y'am!"
The filter made a difference in the colors of the photos. I like the depth of field. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I can't believe you got that through your car window. The original is great but I love what you did with it! Isn't it fun to play with photos? I hope the storm wasn't too nasty. :)
ReplyDeleteI do like the intensity of the colors in the first photo. I guess I need to try instagram. It's already on my iPhone, I just have to start an account.
ReplyDeleteI liked your filtered version of the scene. Pretty dramatic!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The colours are so intense; I love the version with filters, but even without it the pictures feels powerful.
ReplyDeleteLove the front view of the 'front'♫♪
ReplyDeleteNice picture from your phone...the filter helped capture the mood of the stormy skies!
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at the high quality of photos you can get with a phone. And lots of depth with that filter. I hope you got some rain, we can sure use a little more this summer.
ReplyDeleteLove the filtered photo, it does intensify colours, even the grass is greener!
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to get the hang of Instagram. Did you have to take the photo twice, once with filter and once without or is there a way to take the filters off and on? sigh...
ReplyDeleteOh, and yes, the clouds are ominous but beautiful!
What a very nice drive you have. Beautiful. I like it better without filters. I'm all about real when it comes to pictures. :<)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Michigan snapshot. Very cool.
