Matt and I took our new "old" boat out on Lake Huron and had an absolute blast! We went down to Port Huron and made it to the Blue Water Bridge! We stopped a few times and cooled off in Lake Huron. I'm here to tell you that is was COLD! But it was so refreshing and we were like little kids with a new toy!!!
What a summery shot!
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun! I can almost feel the cool water...thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! Lake Michigan is a bit on the cool side for me at 66!
ReplyDeleteYour relaxed photo is glorious and goes with beautiful ride of the lake you had with Matt.
ReplyDeleteLove the pic -- looks very relaxing! We could use some of that COLD water down here in Georgia... Temps over 100, yuck!
ReplyDeleteYou make it look and sound so wonderful - my brother loves boats, and our Norwegian Great-grandfather had a fishing fleet, but any maritime genes passed me by, because I get terribly, terribly ill! Thanks for looking at my blog.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrrr...it does look like fun though. Whenever we go to Maine, the water is ALWAYS too cold for me,
ReplyDeleteThat photo just emanates "relaxation." Looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! I loveeeeeee the photo!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great time.
ReplyDeleteBet it was cold! We couldn't believe all the snow on the ground in Oregon. We went to the beaches, and, for the first time (I live on the Texas Gulf Coast), I had to wear gloves!
ReplyDeleteHere's my
Saturday Snapshot. I hope you will stop by!
I can see that you're very relaxed sitting there watching the water go by. Lake Huron is cold. What area of the lake were you on?
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! Our summer has been strange this year. We haven't really had a truly hot day yet. For the past week it's been in the 70s and rainy at the same time, which is actually strange for the Willamette valley in Oregon during the summer.
ReplyDeleteCool photo. I have to admit to a bit of jealousy when I happened upon the word 'col' in your post...cuz it certainly isn't cold here!
ReplyDeleteBoats and the water say summer to me loud and clear. Have fun!
Sounds like a blast!
ReplyDeleteLooks glorious!
ReplyDeletethat looks like so much fun :)
ReplyDeletePERFECT!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of feet....that suggests complete relaxation to me.
ReplyDeleteA boat and a great lake? Now that sounds like a blast!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great time. I promised myself that the next time I made it back home, I was jumping in Lake Superior, no matter how cold it was.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was refreshing!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect way to spend a hot summer day!
ReplyDeleteHaving recently spent a weekend cruising on VT's Lake Champlain and getting ready to do the same on one of Maine's many lakes, I can completely relate to your photo! So glad you had so much fun.
ReplyDeleteYou should bring that bad boy to Lake Erie and pick me up :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, we vacationed up north on Lake Huron every summer. While the lake was absolutely freezing, it was also refreshing and pure fun! Enjoy that boat! :)
