Waiting on Wednesday Pick- Graphic Novel!!!!

this fun meme brought to us by
September 28th 2010 by Del Rey

The Exile retells the original Outlander novel from Jamie Fraser's point of view, revealing events never seen in the original story and giving readers a whole new insight into the Jamie-Claire relationship. Jamie's surreptitious arrival in Scotland at the beginning of the tale, his feelings about Claire, and much more — up to the point where Claire faces trial for witchcraft and must choose whether to return to her own century — are brought to life in brilliant four-colour art.
When I saw this at B&N I believe I yelled outloud..."Yahoo!!!" I've been waiting for something like this and my dream has come true. The best part of this graphic novel is that it's told from Jamie's POV!!

  1. I've been intimidated by Gabaldon's work - maybe this is more at my level.

  11. Up to this point I've avoided the Outlander series. But I have this new love for graphic novels. Maybe this is what will get me to the Outlander series. I'm glad you're happy about this upcoming event.

  12. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read "I'm from the thumb of Michigan" in your profile! I'm from the wrist end of the life line! People look at me like I'm nuts when I put my hand up to show em' where I'm from. I always love meeting a fellow Michigander.

Interesting WOW pick - I haven't heard of Outlander before. I'll have to check it out.
