It was a long walk--seven miles--to the park. We Wednesday Sisters walked at the fringes of the crowd, feeling more like the shopkeepers who observed from their doorways than like protesters.

It's Tuesday...Where are you?
Right now I'm in the late 1960's meeting friends at the park in Palo Alto, California. I haven't really had an opportunity to introduce myself so that is all that I can tell you at the moment. Plus, I've got my hands full just trying to survive on a daily basis. I just woke up in a hospital and have found out that the world is being ruled by the dead....and let me tell you something, I'm just a little scared!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI've been seeing good things about Wednesday Sisters.
ReplyDeleteThe Walking Dead does sound scary!
This book sounds a little spooky. I think I'll pass. I was reading your previous review of -Sugar Queen, I think. Now that looks very good. I think I'll see if I can find that one.
ReplyDeleteBeth and Margo- The Walking Dead is spooky but my 14 year-old son wants me to read them so how can I resist?
ReplyDeleteEek! I'd be a little scared too :P
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting. Plus I like spooky books. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe Wednesday Sisters sounds intriguing. Not so sure about The Walking Dead. Reading the two at the same time must be quite an experience!
ReplyDeleteEeks! I'd be scared of that second book. I don't read spooky books. I'm a chicken! LOL!
