The first time he kissed her---it had taken six weeks--was over hamburgers, two inches thick, juices running. He had leaned over and licked the grease off her arm without thinking.

It's Tuesday...Where are you?
Right now I'm in a quaint kitchen full of ingredients, gadgets and the most interesting group of people I've ever met. I am learning how to cook with my senses, NOT from a recipe. Our head chef Lillian is so talented that it is scary, and the older couple...well they're just cute to watch. Plus they work really well together. I have yet to learn the others stories but I'm sure than once we are cooking together we'll all let our walls down and start to share. So far I haven't burnt anything but hey it's still early........
uuh la la. Sounds yummy.
ReplyDeleteNow if they could have been eating extra well done burgers I would have been like...HELLO! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Tuesday my friend!
I'm almost done with my Erynn Mangum book!! I've been reading it so slow so I didn't finish it too quick. LOL!
Hey Girl! Thanks for the comment. I hope I don't have to post anything else medical too. LOL! 2009 has been a rough one so far that is for sure! Ugh!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I had a rabbits foot too. Mine was white. I had it on my key chain than chained it to my belt loop too because it was getting dirty.
Thanks for the well wishes, good thoughts and rubbing the rabbit's foot. I need all the help I can get. Hehehehe. All I know is I'm staying away from ladders, broken mirrors and the number 13...oh yeah..this Friday is the 13th.
Staci - help!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
I picked this one up from the Library today! Great teaser.
ReplyDeleteSizzling hot teaser! :D Although I'm not sure if I want a boy to be licking hamburger grease off my arm and do so "without thinking." I think I'll pass ;)
ReplyDeletececilia
I second Cecilia: I don't really want someone licking hamburger grease off my arm (and since I'm a vegetarian, it'd have to be 'black bean patty grease' lmao).
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! Who does that? LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh I like that. A lot.
ReplyDeleteMy Teaser
I remember that exact quote! You know for a foodie, that's kinda romantic. lol. Great teaser Staci.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an interesting book. Are you enjoying it? And do I need to add it to my TBR list?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I tagged you for a meme. You can read about it on my blog, A Reader's Journal.
Being a foodie, I HAVE to read this book! So many people have loved it! Great teaser!!
