I loved her early work and have read everything since (except this one) but the last few books I've read with an increasing sense of dissatisfaction. Probably time to put Picoult to bed ;)<br />I really enjoyed House Rules but the "Clayton" ending was a huge disappointment, and yep narration can make or break a story. I haven't read that many of Picoult's books but they do all follow the same formula. The wolf guy character was actually based on a real guy - I'm not sure he has a family though.
