I took this photo earlier this week when the rain started to move across Michigan. This is from my back yard and shows how dark blue the sky became right before the storm came knocking! We are experiencing flooding that has closed down roads, rerouted buses, and swallowed up cars in the ditch. We have a reprieve this weekend but by Monday the rains are expected back once again!!!
photo taken with iPhone 4. No filters, just frame from Instagram
We got 20 cms of snow yesterday! Now it's all slush and melting now. What a mess in the middle of April.
ReplyDeleteSooooooooooooo beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo - it looks so desolate.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a picture on the plains with the yellow dormant grass! Cool perspective! I guess rain is better than snow but sunshine and blue skies would be better!!
ReplyDeleteWow, no snow, lucky you
ReplyDeleteWOW...this is an awesome shot. It looks like you live in a very remote area.
ReplyDeleteThat photo could easily be the cover of a book. It's so atmospheric!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic, Staci. I agree with Beth!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, Staci! We got that torrential rain on Friday... today it is snowing :-(
ReplyDeleteLooks like a painting, and a fantastic one at that. The clouds low over the flat brown landscape is stunning. Great pix, Staci!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture but sure hope you get better weather soon!
ReplyDeletelovely photo, feeling your 'rain pain'. Will all that desolate brown turn green when the sun finally makes an appearance?? We had sun today for the first time in ... forever. Ok slight exaggeration but months of rain makes me a little prone to drama queeniness (is that a word) lol
ReplyDeleteThis is a great picture but flooding is not good. Hope it lets up soon. As for us we got more snow. I'm having doubts that spring remembers who we are this year.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful photo, Staci. I hope your weather clears up soon though.
ReplyDeleteLooks like wild weather, hope everything goes ok with the flooding.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like Nebraska! We are getting more rain/thunderstorms today and the snow is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Longest.Winter.Ever!!! Sorry about your flooding!
ReplyDeleteWow Staci - Your snapshot is so beautiful. It's like an art photo. Very, very nice.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so stark. Beautiful colors.
