What I've been up to during these hours:
- watching MSU play like the winners they are!
- eating soup
- running my son to his dinner party before the dance
- running another child to the dance
- finally sitting down to watch the DVRd' version of the football game
- Books completed: 1
- Up next to read: Death of a Glutton by M.C. Beaton

And your readathon is going great!
I didn't know there was a read a thon. Great pictures and that soup looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYou got this!!! :) That soup looks amazing! Homecoming..so fun..nostalgia setting in!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I’m Jamie–one of your cheerleaders ready to cheer you on! Sometimes when I was in college and I would be doing marathon paper writing (not that the readthon isn’t fun!!) I would need just a quick stretch and a laugh and for whatever reason laughing babies always did the trick to make me giggle and then get back done to business! Here’s one of my favorites:

Have fun with the Read-a-Thon and good luck getting through the 24 hours! I'm so out of the blogging loop lately that I didn't know it was the RAT. Love the Homecoming pics! Your energy is amazing...can you bottle it and send it to me?! The soup sounds fantastic, thanks for the link to the recipe!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! Glad you managed to squeeze in some life between all the books!
ReplyDeleteI finished one book that was halfway done and now am almost finished with another one.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
How cute, Staci :) My son didn't want to go to Homecoming this year. Not sure why. Probably didn't want his picture taken. Just kidding. Thanks for sharing your pics.
ReplyDeleteThat soup looks absolutely delicious. I'm going to the link now.
I'm getting sleeeeepy. LOL
Reading is fun, reading is great, keep it up and stay up late!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job and I loved the photos so thanks for sharing. Hope you are enjoying some more of that yummy soup!
Love the male model pics :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a U of M grad here to watch the game and he was a real sport. Awesome game!
One of my best friends is from Michigan--don't tell her but I'm so happy the Spartans beat the Wolverines! You've had lots of fun today and gotten two books read? So much more productive than me. For some reason everyone in my family decided today was the day to talk to Mom--and when they're our kids' ages, you can't pass that up!
ReplyDeleteAww. I'm a Michigan fan (lived in Ann Arbor for several years; my husband got his MBA from there). Didn't watch the game though since I was reading!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the other pics!
Hope you are enjoying the rest of the readathon!
I love all these pictures. Looks like you've had a great day. So much going on. Soup looks good too.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the late hour
ReplyDeleteMake you dour:
Just get up and stretch,
You'll feel the best!
Doing great Staci :D
ReplyDeleteFantastic homecoming pictures, thanks for sharing them :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos, all the boys just look adorable (although I'm sure they'd hate to hear themselves referred to as that LOL)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos!
ReplyDeleteYour son's date looks like she's in college (the updo and dress can change everything) - adorable.
Hope they all had a wonderful time.
love the homecoming pictures. Brothers from other mothers--that's great. I had a few of those in my house too. Ya just love them don't you.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures! They all look very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat soup looks like a version of Italian wedding soup...yummy!
Enjoy.
