The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles Book One Update

My reading buddy

My Brief Thoughts: I really was amazed at how fast I flew through book one and how MUCH I actually enjoyed all it!! Even though this is my first Haruki Murakami book, it will not be my last. I found this great BINGO game to play while reading his books, thanks to one of Ti's followers on Twitter. I want to thank Ti for hosting this RAL and for encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone. Saturday is the DEWEY RAT and I will be working my way to the end of this book...can't wait. I feel like I'm getting smarter!

  1. I'm just hoping to get caught up during Dewey's. Timmy's down the well right now and I keep waiting for Lassie to come save him.

  4. I'm amazed you reacted that way! To me too, it seems way outside the comfort zone so I have avoided Murakami in spite of Ti's advocacy!

  6. That's right, the read-a-thon is coming up! Perfect time for Murakami reading! I am glad you gave him a chance, even though you thought he'd be outside of your comfort zone. We need to get Jill to drink the Kool-Aid.
