Tuesday Intro: A French Affair

My Tuesday Intro pick is A French Affair by Katie Fforde. I am in the middle of a torrid love affair with British Chick Lit and have read some UK blogs that featured many of Katie's books. I was able to get a copy of this one from NetGalley. I can't wait to read it!

'I'm saying this more in horror than in anger, sweets, but are you really going like that?
Gina shot her sister a look that combined irritation, amusement and a touch of exasperation. They were in the car on the main road to Cranmore-on-the-Green and turning back to revamp her outfit was not an option.

Would you continue reading this one
 based on the opening paragraph?

  6. I love Katie Fforde and British chic lit, so I would keep reading even if it didn't have my favorite topic "A French Affair." Here's Mine

  8. Great opening. I want to keep going to at least find out what she's wearing. Or maybe it's her hair? Sounds fun.

  9. I'm intrigued :) I would keep going! I have two daughters who say this kind of stuff to each other at the most inopportune times, so it would be fun to read something similar to real life but with a lighter tone :)

  11. I prefer British chick-lit most of the time. It has been years since I read Katie Fforde, but this one sounds like something I would like, and not just because of the French connection!
