Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

—————————————
Dusk was deepening toward another dark summer night and the chilly mountain air felt like frigid fingers running down their spines.
A near-full moon began to peak through the majestic mountain pines that dominate the western slope of the California Sierra Nevada mountain range, adding to what was already an eerie atmosphere.
“It was seven years ago today,” Ryan growled, his voice breaking the silence on this starless night, June 13, 1995. “The car radio said severe thunderstorms were threatening to hit the Sierras, but the Jacksons were set on going on their annual family vacation to Shaver Creek.”
LOL, I guess comics need teasers too. Here's Mine

I like the idea that a graphic novel can be the subject of a teaser too, though of course you can't really adhere to the "two sentence" rule. But this is a great idea! Excellent teaser.
ReplyDeleteMy own much more prosaic teaser is at Bookishgal.

ReplyDeleteHere's my Teaser.
You always have the best teasers. It must be that wide variety of books you read. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteYou know I've just never been one for graphic novels. I look forward to your review of this though.
