YA MEME- I stole it!!

As I was catching up on my blog reading I came across this YA Meme that Amanda from A Patchwork of Books had listed. So I pretty much stole how she did her books and just put in bold the ones that I had read and then XXX's for the ones that I loved!!

EDITED: for some reason I'm getting all kinds of error messages...so the ones in ITALICS and are highlighted GREEN I have NOT read!!

A group of YA librarians on Facebook put together a list of 100 "top" teen novels.

Feel free to copy and repost this in your own blog.

The following list of books teens love, books teens should read, and
books adults who serve teens should know about was compiled IN
ABSOLUTELY NO SCIENTIFIC MANNER and should be taken with a very large
grain of salt.

Instructions:***
Put an "X" next to the books you've read
Put a "+" next to the books you LOVE
Put a "#" next to the books you plan on reading
Tally your "X"s at the bottom
Share with your friends!

I altered the instructions a bit for my own use. I'm bolding the ones I've read and putting an X next to the ones I love.

  2. Julie,
I have and after about 200 pages you won't be able to put it down!! I loved it but it is NOTHING like Twilight. But remember, life is short and if you don't like it, put it down and try something else. You may come back to it a month from now and really get into it.

  6. I'm thinking about stealing this list just to add to my TBR pile. Aack! I don't need any more books but a bunch of these sound good. The Book Thief and To Kill a Mockingbird are two of my top ten favorites ever!

  7. I have only read 21 of these! I think I would do much better with a British YA list. Some of my favourites on this list are Hatchet, The Midwife's Apprentice, Sabriel and How I Live Now. I could read these over and over again. I have Twilight and The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau out from the library just now.
