Teaser Tuesdays and It's Tuesday....Where Are You?

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

  • "Scarlett," she whispered, "we must get him out of here and bury him. He may not be alone and if they find him here---"She steadied herself on Scarlett's arm.

    It's Tuesday....Where are You?

Right now I'm in Georgia, learning how to be the belle of the ball and ready to pull out Melanie's hair because she dares to take Ashley Wilkes away from me!! We'll see who wins in the end!! -Gone With the Wind

And if that doesn't beat the band, I'm also 8 months pregnant and just found out that my husband whom I adore has been having an emotional affair for the last year!!! And I can't decide which is worse...emotional or physical?

    1. Ooh, Gone with the Wind! I read that during my first year of law school (at the University of Georgia!) and LOVED it. It was a nice break from all the brain-busting I was doing. Hope you're enjoying it!

    2. I think I was about fourteen when I read Gone With the Wind and of course I fell instantly in love with Rhett. It was the most romantic book I had read. It's still one of my favorites, and I've dipped back into it many times over the years. It's a great read.

    3. Over 20 years since GWTW and that Teaser brings me right back - such wonderful writing.

I think that physical vs. emotional is a good debate in your other read.

    5. GWTW is my all time favorite movie. Can you believe I never read the book though? I can quote the movie by heart I've seen it so many times...it starts like this...

"War, war, war..this war talk is spoiling all the fun at every party this spring. I get so bored I could scream. Besides there isn't going to be any war."

I love me some Clark Gable.
